The Weekly Top X - Tig ol' Bitties

Phew... what a week!  Nothing like a Top X to take the edge off.  What's that you're saying?  This week wasn't all that bad?

Maybe not for you, chum!  And while we're on the subject, don't contradict me in front of the other readers!

The nerve of some imaginary people.

The Weekly Top X

1) Pitched Battle - Sanguinary Priest in Terminator Armor WIP: All but the Base
Sanguinary priests in terminator armor? I did not know such a thing was possible! Please, don’t tell me if it’s not. Especially since the WIP shots are lookin’ so good. It’d be like finding out that Mr. Pickles the cat really didn’t go to live on that nice farm.

2) NockerGeek.net - A 40k Artist Needs Your Help
If you’re the kind of person who likes helping people then this is the post for you. If you’re the kind of person who likes art, then this post is for you too. If you’re the kind of person who likes both helping people AND art, then what the hell are you still doing reading this sentance? READ THE LINKED POST ALREADY!

3) La Taberna De Laurana - [Opinión] Análisis del Finecast: Mi primera vez
I like to promote the non-english blogs whenever I can. Unofrtunately, my sharp lack of language skills hinders this in the same way that having a serious concussion hinders people’s ability to not projectile vomit. It’s tough, is what I’m saying. But sometimes I get lucky and find great stuff like this post on Finecast and Arjack Rockfist.

4) iWARGAME - REVIEW – Meadow Flowers…
I did not even know such a thing existed. It was truly amazing. Now go look at some tiny flowers!

5) Mr. Lee's Painting Emporium - Painting during Travel
I’ve dabbled in having a mobile painting kit, but I got nothing on this guy. Some solid ideas here for making the best of your own bid’ness trips to obviously made up places like Basingstoke. I mean, really... it’s the least believable name I’ve heard. Though big props to Me. Lee for going the distance and creating a fake web page for Basingstoke’s fake government.

6) Lesser of All Evils - 40k Kill points vs fantasy Victory points- The lesser of two evils
Games Workshop latest efforts at creating systems whereby the players can tell who won a particular game have been kind of awful. This post looks at both kill points and victory points to see which pig looks better in lipstick.

7) All Things Fett - Sci-Rifle Countdown
Counterfett loves making countdowns. Which is good since his audience loves reading them. His most recent one on sci-fi guns (not to be confused with syfy guns) is pretty rad - and it’s not even half way done! About the only thing that will make it radder is if he includes the props in Terra Nova that are obviously just re-painted nerf guns.

8) Oddleg's Enterprises - You sank my Battleship!!
With all the pants-shitting existential terror and hobby weltschmerz that the 6th edition 40k rumors are leaving in their wake, many people are looking at other games to to diversify their portfolio (if you will). Dystopian wars is one such option and this post is a pretty good look at what it’s all about. Spoiler alert: it’s about awesome navel naval battles.
