Deep Diction
My original idea for today was to do a Top X based upon my new favorite homophones: ado and adieu. But it turns out that singling out people who write 'without further adieu' when the really mean 'without further ado' is not the way to go about making friends. Some of them could have seriously be rocking one of the cleverest puns I've ever seen. Plus, I already have enough enemies. So I still want to mention this little factoid, I just don't want to be any shittier about it than I have to.

The Actual Weekly Top X
For those of you who know me, it's no secret that I practically have the Forgeworld site bookmarked in my pornography folder. Every time I get a little extra scratch for models, I have to be extremely wary of visiting for fear that I might end up with another expensive model I'll never use.
Recently, a couple... well, actually a lot more than a couple... cool new things came out and thanks to the sweet ,delicious posts provided by our very own HoP blog rolls, I may have had far fewer things for the ol' slideshow.
With that in mind, this week's Top X is all about what our members are doing with their own Forgeworld fetishes.
1)The Veil's Edge - No Fool : Stormeagle Conformation
This is how I first found out about the new and amazing Stormeagle Gunship and what jammed the idea for today's Top X into my brain. Bix hit upon two of the things I love - flyers and information. We have a picture f the beasty and a nice little press release from FW with most of the details. I also think Bix and SinSynn may have been separated at birth.
2) The 19th Legion - Lessons Learned: Building a Forgeworld Thunderhawk
I always wanted to see what one of these looked like in the raw. And now I know. Plus, I just couldn't resists the transition from baby flyer to big-ass flyer. Here's a link to the videos that were mentioned in the post because what kind of promoter would I be if I didn't include them?
3) The Hogs of War - Forge World Open Day 2011 Pictures
In anticipation for this years Open Day that is, literally, 2 says away, I thought a solid look at what goes on during this even was warranted. If you live in England, you should be pretty pumped. I know I'm looking forward to the upcoming pictures from this year.
4) Rant in E Minor - Tantalicious
At about this point I realized I needed to throw SinSynn a Xeno-bone or that's all we're gonna hear about in the comments. Sorrowshard has bought and built one of the coolest looking Xeno modes that FW make. So far it's game performance hasn't been at the level he likes, but I think that he'll figure things out. The model is just too cool to not use.
5) Political Dice - Forgeworld Tartaros pattern Terminators!
We end this week with another reaction to a new release. Probably my favorite since the Contemptor pattern dreadnoughts. I know that feel, Asheth. All the way buddy.
