The Weekly Top X - TEQUILA!

All right ladies and gentlemen, we're back with the Top X!  No tricks, not crazy gimmicks.  Just good old fashioned promotion of knowledge and art. Well not completely...  I've got it in my head that 'Tequila' is a good metaphor for to hang this post on.  Think of me as a kind of gringo jimador.

News:
First, something of interest by way of Auberoun over at the Digital Waaagh.  This is our traditional salt.  Which is not say that it is course or angry at some embarrassment.  No, no, no.  Auberoun's contest is being announced here to enhance the flavor of the cactus juice we are about to consume.  Right, the Digital Waaagh needs a new banner and a post title and if you have what it takes to do either of these you could win some commission painting. Details here.
The Weekly Top X
The main event.  The tequila if you're willing to suspend disbelief and follow the, admittedly, thin metaphor.  You may notice that some of these are few weeks old.  But all  tequila has a bit of aging to give it character.  Good tequila needs more than aging, however.  These posts are 100% agave, brother.  This isn't that mixtos crap that broke college kids buy off the bottom shelf at the grocery store.

1) Ninjabread - Infinity for 40K Players
Infinity has been gaining a lot of popularity over the last 6 months and a ton of good content has been cropping up all over the blogosphere.  Curis has posted up a great addition to all this courtesy of one of his buds.  If you have questions about the game, this is a pretty great place to start.  Which is not to slight any of  the rest of you who have great posts on the same subject.  It's a limited format here. Jeez!

2) Frontline Gamer - Does Malifaux need to take a pause for the cause?
Yes.  But this post isn't about agreeing with things.  It's about promoting good hobby content.  Frontline makes another of his compelling, polite and well written arguments.  This time about Malifaux and the fact that serious thought on 'version control' and cost of entry are things that Wyrd should consider.

3) NestorV's Minis Blog - Create realistic looking blood with Tamiya X-27
I'd seen this trick before, and I'd never been to impressed by it.  Usually because the example models being shown looked a bit like ass.  Not so with this guys work.  Now I'm probably going to dick around with this after I post this up.  Be sure to read the comments as there's some good info there as well.

4) Wargaming Tradecraft - Stat-Counting for Safety
I told Dave we were going to pimp this one and he thought it'd go well with the bizarro theme.  No.  This is important information here.  The internet isn't all lolcats and porn.  Some serious shit goes down from time to time.  With this, at least you have a chance for assigning some kind of accountability.

5) Table Top Hell - Role Playing Games
Von has been doing an excellent job with his new series, but he's definitely in the deep end (not off the deep end, mind you) of the RPG pool.  At least once, we've had some people do the online equivalent of head scratching.  So for those of you have no idea what the hell all the Arr-pee-jee stuff is, start here.

6) Porky's Expanse! - John Higginsbottom, the Intercosmic Man of Misery
Speaking of RPG's, here's an utterly fantastic character idea from the Porkster.  There's not too much to say about this without giving something away, so you really should go and check it out.

Ok, we've licked some salt, shot some high-quality reposado and now it's time for the lime.   That piece of citrus that I am not ashamed to say I have sucked on for dear life on more than one occasions.  That's you.

Your comments are the lime.
