1) To be quite honest, our first day has been pretty
Part of the process of making the House of Paincakes totally boss and cool is responding to problems/concerns and working with the community to improve. It’s an ongoing process - to state the obvious. Things like the major template changes are just one of the many things we’re willing to do to make this site great. As we get more input and more ideas from you guys, more things may change.
So please bear with us as we make tweaks and changes here and there ove the coming days.
2) For those of you who have colored backgrounds on your own sites and for those of you who are not using blogger, the logo may be an issue. Unfortunately, I can’t make a widget for the wordpress guys, so you’ll have to put the logo up manually. For those of you who would like an opaque background on the logo or even a different sized logo, we’re making a few options available to you under the 'logo' link in the tabs at the top of the page. If anybody needs something else done with the logo, just shoot us an email at houseofpaincakes.info@gmail.com
3) For anybody who wants to join in the fun, the comments section is not the proper place to apply. Please, pleas send an e-mail request to make sure we see it. More information can be found here.
4) Lastly, and most importantly: We’d like to personally thank everyone who has signed up and supported us so far. Hell, we’d even like to thank the people who haven’t joined yet but are thinking about it. This network and this blog are all about you guys; thank you from the bottom of our black hearts for everything you guys have done to help us give this project such a good start.

Recent comments pls :)?
And the widget Linkwithin will become very useful I imagine. + archiving. Get to work!
good ideas kirbs. Now we just gotta figure out where to stick the comments thing. d'oh. The archiving is under the blog role, unless I have no idea what you're talking about.
Links on the top row when you start with 'serious' posts. I.e. links to hobby articles, competitive articles, etc. Once you get 200+ posts the actual blog archive and labels are very hard to navigate.
Kirby, you put out 200 a WEEK, so you should know!
